The workshop aimed at ICT regulators, sector ministries and national statistical offices of the Anglophone African countries. Experts from national, regional and international organizations facilitated the workshop.

It discussed data collection and dissemination of statistics relating to access to ICTs, use of ICTs by households, businesses and individuals. ECA presented the results of the sub-regional metadata collection of available ICT surveys in the region with a view to further defining a common set of core ICT indicators.
