This workshop reviewed the core ICT indicators agreed at the WSIS Thematic Meeting on Measuring the Information Society in Geneva (7-9 February 2005), methodological aspects and regional and international best practices. It formulated recommendations to the Executive Committee of the Statistical Conference of the Americas, in order to advance in the development and harmonization of regional statistics in ICTs.
