Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt, the Information Technology Industry Development Agency and the League for Arab States.


This workshop was held in the framework of the “Partnership on Measuring ICT for Development” , and focused on the technical and methodological, rather than the planning, aspects of capacity building. Specifically, the workshop addressed the use of surveys for the collection and presentation of data for core indicators on access by, and use of, ICT by households and in businesses. The workshop also discussed the Arab ICT Strategy, focusing on its objectives and indicators to measure progress in implementation.
